love letters

Naps are a beautiful thing. We used to hate having to sleep during the day in fear of missing any amount of time to play with our Barbies and matchbox cars, but now I think we all realize that there is nothing better than a two hour nap during the day. I don’t know about you, but if I had known how many nights were going to be spent worrying and thinking about “real life” problems, I would’ve absolutely loved every nap I took as a child. Treasured it even.

I stayed up too late lastnight, not worrying, but watching this late 80’s-early 90’s movie called Secret Admirer. It wasn’t the quality of the movie that kept me interested, but I sympathized with one of the characters, Tony, quite a bit and I wanted to see how it turned out for her in the end. The boy of her dreams finally realized it was her that he loved, so he jumped in the water and swam out to her boat; she jumped in and met him half way.

I always get sucked into crappy older movies.
