My counselor came today as planned, and brought her daughter so we could meet and bond and be best friends forever and ever. She is really nice and I see a lot of the same friendly characteristics in her as I do her mother. We talked about my jewelry and exchanged addresses with the agreement that I send her anything new I make and she’ll sell it to those poor college students in Charlotte. It doesn’t get any better than that.
Above when I said we met so we would bond and become best friends, bla bla… I guess that sounded kind of rude/sarcastic. Mrs. Johnson just thought we might have a lot in common and then we would both have someone else to talk to. I’ve been thinking about our similarities and differences, so I made a list:
Similarities
-We both have brown hair
-We’re both close to our families
-We’re both afraid of “the real world”
-We both hate scary movies
-We both have a relationship with God
-We both like to procrastinate
-We’re both “homebodies”
-We’re both single
Differences
-She wears a gold ring – I dislike gold
-She probably jogs – I sprint
-She has a great dane – I have scary cats
-She is going to be a nurse – I’m usually on the other side of the health care
-She has a younger brother – I am the youngest in my family
-She has a very kind heart – I think mine has hardened a little over the past year
So today was a good day and I like being alive.
