frog. kiss. prince. wedding. ta da!

My brother in law called to tell my dad that he applied for the youth leader job at the old church. He went on to say that our close family friend was the one to encourage and eventually "talk him into it". My dad got off the phone and was so close to bursting into tears. He took the garbage out...several different times it seemed. My mom is mad, Dad is hurt and depressed again. Tanya and I cry for him... the look on his face... I just wish people thought with their heads and hearts in situations like these.

The family friend knew the whole story, she knew how much it hurt Dad and she found out the true nature of the pastor. I don't get why she would encourage my brother in law to apply for a job that would put division in my family (again) and with the 99% chance that he won't get the job anyway. He gets along with kids, but I don't think he would excel in a position like that.

When I say that it would put division in my family (again), I'm referring to the year and a half my sister and Chris #1 lived together before they were married. My parents don't believe that's right if you claim to be a christian and deliberately continue to live in sin, so this was a huge issue. It caused a lot of ugly shouting matches in the begining and then it got to where every time they came over my dad would immediately go into his room and shut the door. It took years to repair our family, especially the relationship between my sister and my dad. Now, who knows?

I should be writing this in my notebook instead of on the computer, since that was one of my New Years resolutions. I'm cold. Really upset for my dad. Scared for my family. Cold. My stinking background isn't working anymore and I liked it a lot, and for some reason this is also making me sad. Lonely.

I think I want to be already married.

I didn't read through this so don't make fun of me if there are a lot of errors. Oh yeah, it would be nice to get a note or two around here.
